China's GDP in the II quarter rose by 7%
Almaty. July 15. Silkroadnews - China's GDP in the II quarter rose by 7%, according to Xinhua news agency.
Last year, China's GDP grew by 7.4%, the worst figure for the last almost 25 years. In addition, for the first time since 1998, the Chinese authorities were unable to reach the goal, which was at around 7.5%.
In March 2015 Prime Minister Li Keqiang announced that the government expects the GDP growth in the current year in the region at 7%. Earlier, the IMF predicted that the growth of China's economy in 2015 will slow down to 6.8% and 6.3% - in 2016.
The slowdown of GDP in the second largest economy in the world is the concern of experts. Meanwhile, the Chinese authorities do not share the pessimism about its economy. Slowing of economic growth, China calls the "new normal", which implies a qualitative development, not the rapid growth, the newspaper said.
