China’s north is expected to see a sharp drop in temperature

Almaty. October 9. Silkroadnews – Cold front is expected to run to the north of China, Xinhua news agency reports.
“A cold front will sweep across most of northern China in the next three days, bringing falling temperatures and strong wind,” the report said.
In Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and other northern regions, the forecast says, the temperature will drop by 6-10 degrees, and in some regions by 12 degrees Celsius. Cold weather will be accompanied by strong wind and sandstorms.
Rainfall up to 120 millimeters is reported forecasted in Sichuan and Hainan Island.
Local authorities are advised to get ready for landslides and floods in areas with high level of precipitation expected.
