Almaty. December 9. Silkroadnews - Premier Li Keqiang stressed the important role of innovations in the 13th five-year plan of socio-economic development (2016-2020.) And called for further efforts to develop new and modernization of the traditional sources of growth, reported the agency Xinhua.
According to him, the 13th Five-Year Plan should be developed taking into account the domestic and global economic conditions to ensure a balance between growth and structural transformation.
He called for greater efforts to address the problems of excess production capacity, the aging population, a weak social security system and underdeveloped social services.
The five-year plan should focus on the quality and efficiency of growth to increase the contribution of innovation to economic development, he said.
