China’s TVEA receives license to develop Upper Kumarg gold mine in Tajikistan

Beijing. April 9. Silkroadnews - China’s TVEA received a license to develop the Upper Kumarg gold deposit in Tajikistan, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Monday.
China’s company “TVEA Dushanbe mining” received a license to develop the “Upper Kumarg” gold deposit, officials of Tajikistan Geology Department said.
According to the source, the Tajik government issued a license to the Chinese company after studying its report on the exploration works at the field conducted in several stages.
Earlier it was reported that TVEA carried out geological exploration using the latest advanced technology. Consequently, during the development of the field, the company also intends to use modern technologies that determine the composition of the ore with high accuracy, including presence of gold and other associated minerals.
According to the source, a license to develop the field also provides for the construction of a concentration plant and extraction of minerals.
Chinese experts have already built an automobile road to the field.
According to the approved act of the State Commission on Mineral Reserves of the Republic of Tajikistan, the preliminary estimates shows the gold reserve of the Upper Kumarg field is 30 (thirty) tons.
