China started the construction of power lines-800 in Brazil

Almaty. May 22. Silkroadnews - State Grid Corporation of China (SGC) has launched a project to build high-voltage power line plus or minus 800 kV in Brazil, reports the newspaper "People's Daily".
It is noted that this is the first project undertaken by China abroad. Power line will be 2084 km, created appropriate converter stations. These works are expected to be completed in late 2017.
Experts estimate the project as "a major breakthrough" in the promotion of Chinese technology in transmission lines abroad. It has great importance for the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between China and Brazil.
Launch ceremony was held in the capital of the South American country in Brasilia on Tuesday, 19 of May.
