China strengthens construction of national clinical research centers

Almaty. July 24. Silkroadnews – China will strengthen the establishment of national clinical research centers, Xinhua news agency reports with reference China’s Ministry of Science and Technology.
At the conference held in Beijing on clinical research, it was reported there are 32 national clinical research centers operating in China at present, covering 11 categories of diseases, including diseases of cardiovascular system, malignant tumors and respiratory system diseases.
“According to Wang Zhigang, vice minister of science and technology, the national clinical research centers should take on the main responsibility in linking clinical medicine with life sciences and biotechnological research and applying clinical research into practice”, publication reads.
At present, it is noted, more than 2100 medical institutions of the country work with the national clinical research centers.
