China strengthens fight against child pornography

Beijing. June 5. Silkroadnews - China’s law enforcement authorities publicly reported nine cases uncovered during a crackdown on online child pornography or children-related illegal publications, SINA.com reports.
According to the National Office Against Pornographic and Illegal Publications, the cases identified are related to spread of child pornography and indecency with underage girls through videos or words.
Authorities have dealt with cases involving sexual or violent content at popular video sharing and cartoon websites. There were also two cases involving unlicensed publication of children’s books or copyright violation, the report reads.
