Beijing. February 6. Silkroadnews - China successfully intercepted ballistic missile, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference to Xinhua.
"On February 5, 2018, China successfully tested the technology to intercept missiles in the middle of the flight trajectory using a ground-based anti-missile system,” China’s Ministry of National Defense said on Tuesday.
As noted in the military department of China, the test served purely defensive character not directed against any country.
