China supported Trump’s idea on peaceful settlement of the situation on the DPRK

Almaty. April 20. Silkroadnews – The Chinese government supports the idea of the US President Donald Trump to settle the situation on the Korean peninsula through the peaceful means, TASS writes.

“The negotiations, consultations and use of peaceful methods for the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and the maintenance of peace and stability there are the only way to resolve the issue and is the position of the Chinese government”, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang said.

Earlier D. Trump expressed the hope that Pyongyang is interested in the peace in the same way as Washington.

As the media reported, the situation on the Korean Peninsula got worsened in early 2016, when Pyongyang carried out a nuclear test and then launched a ballistic missile with artificial earth’s satellite. In total within a year North Korea carried out more than 20 rocket launches.
