"US State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke said that China threatens the stability of the entire region, alluvium artificial islands in the disputed areas of the South China Sea and occupying land", - says the publication.
The diplomat said that Washington fears that Beijing may use these areas for militarization.
The reaction followed the publication of the State Department satellite images of Chinese buildings in the Spratly Islands, where representatives of the PRC erect harbor and WFP.
Beijing's claim that in this way they protect the country's sovereignty.
