China to become a major player in global aviation – Xi Jinping

Almaty. August 29. Silkroadnews – China plans to become a major player in global aviation aircraft engines design and production, TASS reports.

«I hope you will cope with the task and the liability (assigned), fight tirelessly, accelerate the creation and production of aircraft engines and gas turbine systems to make our country a great aviation power» President Xi Jinping said in his written statement read at the solemn meeting on the occasion of the establishment of the Chinese corporate aviation engine (Aero Engine Corporation of China).

It is noted that the establishment of the new corporation has been initiated by the decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to strengthen the country's defense and modernization of production within the area designated.
