China to buy 100 000 tonnes of Kazakh wheat

Astana. May 23. Silkroadnews – China plans to buy 100 000 tonnes of Kazakh wheat, “KazAgro” informs.
“Kazakhstan and People’s Republic of China signed a framework agreement on cooperation and wheat trade”, the message states.
As stipulated by the agreement, Chinese “COFCO Limited” intends to purchase 100 000 tonnes of Kazakh wheat from “KazArro” between 2014 and 2015. Market prices are to be paid.
Moreover, the parties expressed readiness to discuss joint financing of grain terminal construction.
