China to create a world-class army by mid of 21st century

Almaty. October 18. Silkroadnews - China will create a world-class army by the middle of the 21st century, China Daily reported.
“Xi Jinping said Wednesday the Communist Party of China (CPC) will strive to fully transform the people's armed forces into world-class military by the mid-21st century,” the report said.
By the year 2020 mechanization will be basically achieved, with IT technologies coming a long way, and strategic capabilities seeing a significant improvement. It is reported that the modernization of the national defense and armed forces should be basically completed by 2035.
