China to develop a high-speed train capable of reaching speed above 400 km/h

Almaty. November 30. Silkroadnews – China to develop a technology for complete construction of high-speed trains capable of reaching speeds of 400 km/h and above, “Xinhua” agency says.
Chairman of the board of directors for China Railway Company (CREC) said, during the 13th five-year plan the company will strive to promote innovation in 18 fields, including high-speed railway lines, heavy traffic railways and railways adapted to highland conditions, construction of bridges, and others.
He also added, the infrastructure construction, especially the large-scale railway construction in China sill stays at the peak, yet the construction growth rates are slowing, which means the industry is approaching a turning point.
