China to help Tajikistan in strengthening the border with Afghanistan

Almaty. September 26. Silkroadnews – China and Tajikistan plan signing an agreement to strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border, Afghan news agency (AfTAG) reports.
The agreement signing has been initiated by the Tajik side's request. It provides for China to build three military commissariats, four military units, four headquarters and training base for the border troops within the border areas of Tajikistan.
Growing militant activity along the Tajik-Afghan border, which length makes more than one thousand km, becomes a subject of growing concern for the Tajik authorities.
