Beijing. January 22. Silkroadnews - China will improve the cultural, medical, scientific infrastructure in rural areas, the Global Times newspaper reports.
“China plans to improve cultural, medical, scientific and technological infrastructure and services in rural areas, particularly impoverished areas, according to a notice jointly issued by several ministerial level departments,” the report said.
Free film screenings and library services will be continued in remote villages, and a scientific and technical infrastructure will be created to ensure due services provision.
Specialized medical teams will be sent to treat patients in areas of ethnic minorities, border areas, impoverished areas, etc.
The Communist Party and relevant government departments will carry out activities in poor regions and provide favorable policies in terms of financing and services.
