China to scan the chemical industry for the presence of hidden environmental threats

Almaty. October 20. Silkroadnews - Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China has announced plans to hold a Special checks for the presence of hidden environmental threats in the chemical industry, reported Xinhua news agency.
"Testing will take place in the period from the third decade of October and early November of this year in 16 provincial-level regions of the country. Ecologists will have to clarify, whether there is a protection of ecologically sensitive sites and how to dispose of hazardous waste", - said the deputy minister of MEP Pan Yue.
