Almaty. January 10. Silkroadnews - China welcomes the moves by North and South Koreas to improve bilateral relations, “People’s Daily” reports.
“China supports the DPRK and the ROK’s positive moves to improve their relations and hopes that the international community can give their support, said Lu Kang, spokesperson of China’s Foreign Ministry,” the report said.
According to Lu, China hopes the two Koreas can work together to find an effective way to ease tensions, strengthen mutual trust and resume dialogue.
Being a neighbor of both nations, China has always made tireless efforts to solve the problem of the Korean peninsula and played a positive and constructive role in this process.
Lu also added, China will continue to pay close attention to the situations on the Peninsula, work on various parties and promote peace talks.
