China will allocate $58 million for the development of education in Afghanistan

Almaty. December 2. Silkroadnews - Memorandum of Understanding in the field of education was signed between the Afghan education minister Asadullah Balch and economic attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Kabul Shen Lei on Monday, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
Thus, according to the memorandum, China will provide $58 million, of which $34.6 million will be spent on construction of a building for the National Institute for Vocational Education with area of ​​15 thousand sq. m in the area of ​​Card and-Char in Kabul.
The remaining $23.4 million will be spent on construction of buildings for other schools and institutions.
Attaché Shen Lei said that China will continue to help the Afghan education sector and to provide assistance in the training of teachers of the Institutes.
