China will continue its efforts for a political resolution of the Syrian problem

"China understands and supports the international anti-terrorist operations, consistent with international law and have received the consent of the country where these operations are carried out. At the same time, in the international fight against terrorism it is necessary to work together, not suspecting and blaming each other", - said the publication with reference to Wang Yi, speaking in Sofia after a meeting with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov.
He confirmed that China welcomes any efforts that are truly conducive to a political resolution of the Syrian problem. These efforts should come together at one point and move along the main channel, called the United Nations.
The Foreign Minister of China expressed the hope that with the support of the UN and the international community, Syria will be able to sit down at the negotiating table and find solutions to the problem, the fundamental interests of the state and nation of Syria.
Yi Wang stressed that China uses its own methods to participate in international cooperation to combat terrorism, actively promoting a political settlement of the Syrian problem, the key points put forward initiatives and offers suggestions.
"We will continue to make efforts in this direction", - he added.
