Astana. May 21. Silkroadnews - China will increase the movement of labor-intensive industries to developing countries, following the example of Japan and South Korea. This was announced by Professor of National School of Peking University, former World Bank chief economist Justin Lin, reports KazTAG.
He noted that in the 1960s in China's manufacturing industry employed 9.7 million people, and now this figure had risen to 125 million.
As previously reported, Prime Minister Li Keqiang on December 14, 2014 in Astana held a number of meetings with the leadership of Kazakhstan, where they reached an agreement on the development of productive capacities. In particular, the representative of China declared its readiness to establish on the territory of Kazakhstan factories for the production of glass, cement, agricultural products processing.
Recall that in Kazakhstan passes VIII Astana Economic Forum scheduled for 30 sessions of different formats with the participation of more than 3 thousand delegates from 90 countries. At the forum planned performance of 200 speakers, including prime ministers, members of Parliament, chairmen of financial institutions, Nobel laureates, heads of international organizations and renowned scientists.
