Almaty. August 5. Silkroadnews - China will send a trillion yuan to support infrastructure, reported RBC.
"The Chinese authorities charged the three state-owned banks to issue bonds for trillion yuan ($161 billion) and send the proceeds to support the infrastructure", - says the publication.
The volume of the first issue of bonds amounts to 300 billion yuan ($48 billion). The money will be spent on housing, infrastructure, pipelines and other projects.
Bank of China is trying to find new instruments of monetary policy to stimulate the economy amid falling investment, says RBC. As noted, continuing throughout the month drop in the stock market, as well as decrease in the index of manufacturing activity frightened Beijing and prompted it to raise funds to invest in the real economy.
