Almaty. September 21. Silkroadnews – Chinese airlines will need 8575 new aircraft in next 20 years, People’s Daily reported.
“Chinese airlines will need 8,575 new planes worth $1.21 trillion over the next 20 years to meet strong travel growth, said Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC), the manufacturer of China’s domestically produced C919 aircraft,” publication reads.
COMAC published the date in the annual report on the aviation market forecast at the 17th Aviation Expo China in Beijing.
The forecast was based on a scale of future air transportation, which, according to COMAC, is expected to grow by 4.4% per year over the next 20 years.
