Chinese army began recruiting civilian personnel
Beijing. July 13. Silkroadnews - The Chinese military began to recruit civilian personnel to bring more talented specialists into the army, Xinhua reports.
The recruitment of civilian employees, approved by the Central Military Commission, is the first of its kind, since a profound reform of the national defense and armed forces system was launched in late 2015.
According to the requirements for reforming the civilian personnel system, this year the military plans to hire a number of highly professional specialists for key posts.
The number of positions, requirements for candidates and the selection process will be transparent to ensure fairness in hiring process.
In the armed forces, “civilian personnel” term refers to employees working in managerial or professional technical positions, but not in active service. They carry out duties of civilians in peacetime, but if necessary they are attracted to work for the army.
