Chinese company is going to build a heat electric generation plant in Kazakhstan with capacity of at least 180 MW

Almaty, January 14. Silkroadnews – The Chinese company China Sinogy Electric Engineering Co., Ltd (CSEEC) will build a CHP plant in Kazakhstan, the newspaper “People’s Daily” informs.
“Central Heating and Power Plant with a capacity of at least 180 MW and 450 Gcal/h will be built in the city of Kokshetau, Akmola region. It will provide population and industrial enterprises of the city with electricity and heat, along with a year-round supply of hot water to the regional center”, the publication notes.
The CSEEC representative Su Inpin said the Chinese company is considered to be the largest corporation in the energy sector. The power plants built by the company operate in Turkey, Malaysia and Belarus. The company has no doubt that in Kazakhstan CHP will be built efficiently and on time.
Akim of the Akmola region Sergey Kulagin has emphasized he believes the Chinese investors and engineers to be reliable partners. The only condition for the implementation of a large international project is to use the Kazakhstani coal for electricity generation.
