Chinese language courses for businessmen opened in Pakistan

Beijing. February 21. Silkroadnews - Pakistan-China Institute has started Chinese language classes to provide more opportunities for businessmen and professionals who are interested in doing business in China, Xinhua reports.
Chairman of the Pakistani Senate Mian Raza Rabbani said he was glad that the country began to teach the Chinese language, adding that the friendship between Pakistan and China is beneficial for both countries in strategic and economic terms.
Mushahid Hussein, the head of the Pakistan-China Institute, stressed, it is important to strengthen contacts between people of the two countries.
In turn Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing said language is the basis of mutual understanding, and that beginning of Chinese language classes will boost closer cooperation between Pakistan and China, adding that, overcoming the language barrier, both peoples will better understand each other’s culture.
Chinese lessons were introduced in schools in Pakistan eight years ago, and the new course is introduced for businessmen and scientists.
