CIS citizens can stay in Georgia without a visa for a year

Almaty. June 11. Silkroadnews - Citizens of CIS countries can stay in Georgia without a visa for a year, reports "Vestnik Kavkaza".
"Citizens of 94 countries are now able to enter the country without a visa and stay in the country during the year. The list includes countries of the CIS, Russia, EU countries, the US and others", - said the publication with reference to the decision of the Georgian government.
It is noted that "the citizens of EU countries may enter the country with travel document, as well as evidence on which marked the name, surname, date of birth and photo".
It is reported that a visa-free regime operates in Georgia for European countries, NATO member countries and the CIS, as well as countries that are "important partners of Georgia with whom signed bilateral or multilateral agreement".
Earlier, for Kazakhstan in Georgia acted visa-free regime for the period up to 90 days.
