Commodity circulation between Urumqi and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1.34 bn in 2015
Almaty. July 22. Silkroadnews -The commodity circulation between Urumqi and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1.34 bn in 2015, reports KyrTAG.
"The total volume of commodity circulation between Kyrgyzstan and Urumqi amounted to $1.34 bn in 2015. In the past years there has been a tendency of growth of bilateral cooperation between the states," said Ilkham Shabir, mayor of Urumqi at the 3rd economic forum "Issyk-Kul 2016".
In his words, 19 enterprises have invested in Kyrgyzstan this year, including in medicine, clothes production, energy, agriculture and other fields.
"Kyrgyzstan has provided big support for them. I hope the authorities of Kyrgyzstan will keep on providing support to the investors from Urumqi and stimulate development of these enterprises," said the mayor.
In his words, Kyrgyzstan is a friendly neighboring states of China. In 1993 Urumqi and Bishkek created fraternal relations, new fraternal relations were concluded with the city of Osh in 2015.
