Construction of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge to be completed by end of year

Almaty. November 23. Silkroadnews - The construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge (HZMB) will be completed by the end of the year, Xinhua news agency reported.
“The government of China’s Hong Kong Special Administrative Region said the construction of the Main Bridge of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) is progressing well and the three sides have agreed to try to finish the major works by the end of 2017,” the report reads.
At present, as reported, the bridge section and subsea tunnel have already been connected with furnishing works being carried out for the tunnel and roads, buildings on artificial islands, works on the organization of traffic.
An unprecedented mega-transport infrastructure project will connect Hong Kong in the east with Macao and Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province in the west.
