Almaty. January 5. Silkroadnews – Construction of Lianghekou HPP in Yajiang County, Sichuan Province, will be completed by the end of 2023, Chinese media reported.
Construction of Lianghekou hydroelectric power plant on the Yalong River, a tributary of the Jinsha in the upper stretches of the Yangtze River, continues intensively, media reported. Completion of the hydropower plant with 3 million kilowatts capacity is scheduled for December 2023.
The 295m tall dam is to be constructed in the gorge at an altitude of 3 thousand meters.
