Construction of the road Kok-Tash-Aksai-Tamdyk-Kishemish is postponed for 2 weeks

Almaty. July 14. Silkroadnews - Road Construction Kok-Tash-Aksai-Tamdyk-Kishemish will start in 2 weeks, reports KyrTAG.
"In early June we signed a protocol to start construction of road Kok-Tash-Aksai-Tamdyk-Kishemish and 4th option interchanges Isfara-Vorukh. We had to clarify technical issues. We were invited to the beginning of construction", - said Deputy Prime Minister Abdyrakhman Mamataliev.
"Tajik side offered to postpone the construction of Kok-Tash Aksai Tamdyk Kishemish unitl the situation on the border stibilize. We agreed. Construction will start in 2 weeks. In the case of infinite incidents, we can build roads on our own, bypassing the disputed area, but this way Vorukh will stay without the road", - he said.
Meanwhile, according to the Department of Public Relations and Media State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan, the checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border are operating normally. It is also reported that the situation is relatively stable.
