Construction of the Uzbek section of the fourth line of the pipeline to China will begin in mid-2015

Almaty. March 3. Silkroadnews - Construction of Uzbek section of the fourth line of the main gas pipeline (IHL) Central Asia-China will begin in mid-2015, reported UzTAG.
As noted, at the moment completed the basic technical project with estimated cost of $800 million. The length of the line, which will connect the existing infrastructure of IHL in Uzbekistan with building site in Tajikistan, will be about 200 km.
The fourth strand of IHL Central Asia-China with a total length of about 1 thousand km will pass through 5 countries: Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China. This will increase its aggregate throughput capacity to 85 billion cubic meters. Completion of construction is planned in 2017.
