Container train China - Kazakhstan - Azerbaijan - Georgia - Turkey is planned to be launched in September

Almaty. July 27. Silkroadnews - container train on the Trans-Caspian international transport routes (TCITR) to Turkey is planned to be launched in September this year, indicates the report of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy"(KTZ).
On July 24 in Batumi, under the chairmanship of the president of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Askar Mamin, was held a regular meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Trans-Caspian international transport route.
As a result the parties on July 24 this year launched the first container train from China - Kazakhstan - Azerbaijan. The time of delivery along the entire route is provided in 6-7 days.
"In September of this year, we plan to launch the train route TCITR to Turkey (Istanbul)", - said in a statement.
Summing up the meeting, A. Mamin said that the main aim is to develop the participants traffic on the Trans-Caspian route.
