Convicted extremists and terrorists will be isolated from other prisoners in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. April 18. Silkroadnews – President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev signed the law “On Amendments to the Criminal Executive Code of the Kyrgyz Republic”, KyrTAG reports.
The law was approved by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on March 16, 2016.
The purpose of the law is to ensure the isolation of the persons convicted on extremist and terrorist crimes from other categories of prisoners to reduce the possibility of extremist propaganda and agitation in prison.
The law shall come into force in ten days after publication.
