CPC increased oil exports by 20.4% in January-August

Almaty. September 2. Silkroadnews - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in January-August 2014 exported 26.07 million tons of oil, which is 20.42% more than the same period of 2013, reports KazTAG citing the consortium.
As noted, in August of this year, oil exports amounted to 3.52 million tonnes against 2.9 million tonnes in the corresponding month last year.
Caspian Pipeline Consortium was found for the construction of the pipeline and the export of Kazakh oil transit through the territory of Russia. CPC owns pipeline Tengiz-Novorossiysk with total length of more than 1.5 thousand km, which connects the fields from west Kazakhstan to the Russian Black Sea coast. Consortium shipped 32.7 million tons of oil for export in 2013.
