Creation of Caspian Assembly will be discussed in Astrakhan

Almaty. June 11. Silkroadnews - Representatives of the "Caspian Five" (Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan) will discuss the establishment of Caspian Inter-Parliamentary Assembly during the celebration of the Day of the Caspian Sea in Astrakhan on August 12, reports Trend.
"The main purpose of the Assembly is the constant work in addressing the complex issues at the level of the commission of the Tehran Convention, the issues of introduction of "green" standards, monitoring, exchange of information on the state of the environment", - quotes the head of the Agency for International Environmental Fund "Clean Sea" Vasiliy Bogoslovskiy.
In addition, within the framework of the festival, scientists, environmentalists, entrepreneurs and government officials will discuss how to solve the problem of pollution of the Caspian Sea.
Caspian Day is celebrated annually on 12 August.
