Customs Border Service of Kyrgyzstan will give its functions in all positions of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border

Almaty. January 27. Silkroadnews - Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan on May 1 will transfer its functions to border guards at all the checkpoints of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border, reports KyrTAG with reference to the Deputy Prime Minister's Office Abdyrakhman Mamataliev.
In this regard, border and customs services should be taken to establish a pedestrian corridor from the checkpoint "Ak Jol" in the direction of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to establish the protective fence around the perimeter of the checkpoint.
Deputy Prime Minister noted that the Border Service should work out the issue with the Kazakh side to reduce the time of screening the passengers and vehicles when entering the territory of Kazakhstan.
The border guards were informed that the inspection of the Kazakh side takes longer than Kyrgyzstan, which leads to slowering  bandwidth.
A.Mambetaliev added that the transition checkpoint for citizens crossing procedures for clearance of goods will be simplified.
