Damage from Boeing cargo plane crash in Kyrgyzstan is rated at more than $2.68 million

Almaty. January 25. Silkroadnews – The amount of damage from Boeing-747 cargo plane crash at the village Dachi-Su in Kyrgyzstan is rated at more than 186 million som (more than $2.68 million), KyrTAG writes.

“The Civil Aviation Committee has completed calculating the amount of damage caused by the crash at the village Dachi-Su. According to preliminary data, the amount of damage is 186.5 million som. This amount includes the destroyed houses and the costs of liquidation of consequences”, Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov said on Wednesday.

To remind, on January 16, at 7:00 a.m. in Sokuluk district of Chui region of Kyrgyzstan, not far from the airport “Manas” Boeing-747 cargo plane performing a regular flight from Hong Kong to Istanbul (Turkish Airlines) crashed destroying the housing buildings and killing 38 people. Preliminary information says the cargo aircraft had not reached the runway.
