Days of Uzbek cinema have been opened in China

Almaty. July 1. Silkroadnews – Chinese cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Xian opened the Days of Uzbek movies, Uzbek telegraph agency (UzTAG) reports.

“The program includes the best Uzbek movies showing the national identity and color of the country. The festival has begun with “Life” by director Elkin Tuychiyev,” “Uzbekkino” representatives say.

Also, the Chinese audience will watch such movies as “The Well”, “The Conscience”, “Father”, “At the bottom”, “The magic cap”. They show the rich traditions of Uzbekistan’s modern cinema, leading directions of the national and world cinematography. The movies will get the Chinese film audience acquainted with a way of life, traditions and customs and mentality of the Uzbek people.

“We are all pleased with the consistent development of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in all the fields. Cinema arts is consistently developing in Uzbekistan, along with other forms of art. Today the Uzbek movies are becoming increasingly popular around the world. This festival, along with Uzbek cinema introduction to the Chinese audience, shall also contribute to strengthen the cultural ties, trust and consent between the peoples of Uzbekistan and China,” said head of China’s Bureau of Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
