Defense spending of Tajikistan for 7 years has doubled to $104 million

Almaty. December 14. Silkroadnews - Military expenditure in Tajikistan in the last 7 years have increased twice- to $104 million in 2014, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Monday.
Thus, the most high spendings of Tajikistan to the military were in 2002-2004, when the total military spending of RT were comparable to 2.1-2.2% of GDP.
Military spending per capita in Tajikistan in 2014 amounted to $12.4, and in 2008 - $7.2.
"Therefore, in the total public spending costs of Tajikistan to the military increased from 3.8% to 4.2%", - the experts SIPRI.
