Deliveries of Russian S-300 to Iran does not violate the UN agreements, the White House officials believe

Almaty. August 31. Silkroadnews – Russia's deliveries of S-300 to Iran does not violate the UN agreements, as are considered as a part of the defensive systems, the US President's Advisor Ben Rhodes said, «Izvestia» newspaper writes.

«With great respect to Russia, it has delayed these deliveries for a long time. Deliveries of S-300 are a part of the defensive systems and doesn't violate any U.N. resolutions», B. Rhodes said.

He noted that the U.S.are getting concerned with the Iranian army's strengthening, but as the point in case is about the defensive arsenal there is no threat in there.

According to the US President's advisor, the main focus there is that the Iranians are keeping their commitments under the nuclear deal.

Earlier Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin reported that Iran has received a half of the planned volume of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems S-300 deliveries. Moscow plans to complete its delivery of S-300 to Iran until the end of the year.
