Demand for foreign cars dropped in China due to improvement of quality of domestic products

Almaty. July 28. Silkroadnews - The demand for foreign cars in China has dropped due to improvement of quality of the domestic production, reports the Xinhua news agency.
"The quality of Chinese cars is catching up the foreign ones, it makes pressure on the foreign car producing corporations, said the Forbes magazine. According to the article, in the first five months of the year sales of the US brand Chevrolet, Chrysler and others have dropped or increased insignificantly," the message reports.
One of the main reasons is improvement of quality of the Chinese cars attracting more customers. The sales of Korean Hyundai, KIA, and French Citroen are declining in China.
"Improvement of the interior, body design and equipment with modern techniques of such brands as Great Wall, Geely, Roewe increased demand. Today the Chinese brands make good competition for foreign brands, besides that they have more competitive price," the message reports.
