Developed countries must provide financial and technological support to developing countries, said Xi Jinping

Almaty. September 28. Silkroadnews - President Xi Jinping at the New York headquarters of the UN held a meeting with Secretary General of United Nations Ban Ki-moon, Xinhua news agency reported.
Xi Jingping stressed that the UN and the Security Council should learn useful experience of resolving the Iranian nuclear issue, to insist on dialogue and negotiations to facilitate the settlement of the relevant regional acute problems. He hopes that the UN will continue to promote the development of the entire planet, properly exercised political and moral advantages to promote the development, increase coordination and input in this area, continue to adhere to the principle of "common but differentiated responsibilities."
According to the PRC, the developed countries should take the historical and moral obligations to provide financial and technological support to developing countries. President expressed his hope for the leading role of the UN in global issues, calling it an ideal platform for the international anti-terrorism cooperation, in which the UN member states should conscientiously implement the relevant resolutions of the Security Council and implement the Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations, which in the adoption of comprehensive measures will strike at terrorism.
Xi Jinping stressed that China has put forward the initiative on the construction of a new type of international relations based on cooperation and common benefit.
"China will unswervingly follow the road of peaceful development, efforts for the protection of the contemporary international order based on the UN Charter, and to continue, as always, support the UN and to deepen cooperation with it", - assured the Chinese leader.
