Development of Tajikistan's economy depends on the efficient use of hydropower - President

Almaty. October 15. Silkroadnews - The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held economic and investment forum "Dushanbe 2014: Entrepreneurship - engine of the economy", - reports the press service of the President.
The Head of State, speaking at the forum, expressed confidence that Tajikistan has created all necessary conditions and a favorable climate for business and investment promotion, support and development of the real economy, simplification of procedures related to the regulation of business activity. As noted in the press-service of the President, the country created a free competitive environment.
The President stressed the desirability of strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture, tourism, transport and communications.
It was stressed that Tajikistan has the opportunity for an annual output of 527 billion KW/h of electricity, of which is currently used only 6%.
Also at the forum, it was noted that the country is determined, open and ready for mastering more than 600 deposits of natural organic and inorganic minerals.
At the end of his speech, President Rahmon expressed confidence that the results of the forum will give a serious impetus to the development of various socio-economic sectors of Tajikistan.
