Astana. February 11. Silkroadnews - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev believes that the current difficulties in Kazakh companies are not associated with the entry into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC).
"Today, the weakening of the Russian ruble and the growing pressure on goods on the domestic market of Kazakhstan hurt our producers. Yes, but it has nothing to do with the Eurasian Economic Union, it is our strategic direction. And we can not quit it, as well as the Customs Union. By creating the EAEC, we were told that life will make adjustments",- said N. Nazarbayev at a government session on Wednesday.
He confirmed that Russia in connection with the sanctions is in serious condition.
"These barbaric sanctions do not help anyone. Europe is losing $25 billion, Russia - $41 billion. We are confident that Russia will withdraw with honor from the situation and will continue to develop and prosper, and we along with it", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
