Draft law on limiting government participation in business activities to be presented to Kazakh Parliament this June
Astana. May 27. Silkroadnews – A draft law on limiting government participation in business activities is to be presented to Kazakh Parliament this June, as Deputy Minister of Regional Development Serik Zhumangarin informs.
“We have also prepared the conceptual draft law on limiting government participation in entrepreneurial activities. It is so-called Yellow Pages Rule. We are planning to present it to Parliament by the 1st of July”, Mister Zhumangarin said.
As reported earlier, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has called for reduction of state-owned enterprises to the level stipulated by the OECD. That is, to 15% of GDP by 2020.
