Due to trade with China Kazakhstan becomes a transit state, president of Kazakhstan say

Almaty. June 8. Silkroadnews – Over the past four years Kazakhstan and China have built several thousand kilometers of road infrastructure, president Nursultan Nazarbayev said, KazTAG wrote.
“For 4 years we have built 1,5 thousand kilometers of railways, 3 thousand kilometers of highways. There are 2 railway junctions, 6 automobile crossings. Thus, trading with China Kazakhstan, as it was planned, becomes a transit state”, N. Nazarbayev said during the meeting with Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping in Astana on Thursday.
To remind, these days Xi Jinping pays official visit to Kazakhstan. He is expected to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the opening ceremony of the international exhibition EXPO-2017.
