During his visit to Astana the Chinese leader to discuss strategic partnership directions with his Kazakhstani counterpart  
Almaty. June 7. Silkroadnews – On the eve of his state visit to Kazakhstan the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping published an article on Chinese-Kazakhstani relations in the Kazakhstani newspaper.
“The main task of my current visit to Kazakhstan is to hold a deep exchange of views with President Nursultan Nazarbayev and outline the directions for furthering all-round strategic partnership and growth of the dynamics of multi-vector cooperation between China and Kazakhstan. We sincerely hope the path of joint development and prosperity of China and Kazakhstan to become wider and smoother”, the Chinese leader said.
According to him, the parties should facilitate cooperation in joint construction of “One Belt, One Road”, accelerate the joining of development strategies, and jointly implement the results of the forum for international cooperation within “One Belt, One Road” initiative. It is necessary to explore the potential of cooperation in transport and logistics, accelerate the construction of a new intercontinental Eurasian bridge, the China-Central Asia-Middle East economic corridor and the Western China-Western Europe international transit corridor, promote integrated interconnected infrastructure and facilitate trade, seek more flexible and effective models of investment and financing, expand mutual settlements in national currencies in support of joint projects of China and Kazakhstan.
He also believes, Kazakhstan and China should develop industrial cooperation as a new source of growth of bilateral cooperation, intensify implementation of the already agreed projects with the expected quick results, continue to identify the role of the dialogue mechanism on cooperation in the field of industrialization and investment, maintain effective exchange of information and policy coordination, Create a favorable business environment for each other’s companies.
Efforts should be focused on cooperation in high-tech and innovation spheres, to deepen cooperation in such advanced areas as aviation and space exploration, digital economy and new energy sources, promote big data creation, cloud computing and “smart” cities construction, enhance cooperation in the areas of IT and e-commerce. It is important to put emphasis on innovative development, to bring China-Kazakhstan cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
“I am convinced that we will all be faithful to the great dreams and with our own hands promote a new, great rise in China-Kazakhstan relations”, the Chinese leader concluded.
To remind, the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping will make a state visit to Kazakhstan on June 7-10.
