During Trump’s visit China and U.S. commercial deals amounted $250 billion

Almaty. November 10. Silkroadnews - Commercial deals China and the U.S. made during Trump’s visit amounted to $250 billion, Reuters reported.
“U.S. companies, from chip giant Qualcomm to aircraft maker Boeing, announced a slew of deals during U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to Beijing. The deals could be valued as much as $250 billion, though some have been long in the pipeline and many are non-binding,” the report said.
With this the publication gives a summary of the announced deals:
- China Energy Investment Corp plans to invest $83.7 billion in development of shale gas and chemical projects in the state of West Virginia;
- China’s top state oil giant Sinopec, Bank of China and China Investment Corp agreed to help develop the liquefied natural gas project in Alaska. Alaska Gasoline Development Corp has signed an agreement with Chinese companies to almost $43 billion and may create up to 12,000 jobs in the U.S.;
- General Electric Co has signed three commercial transactions with Chinese partners for a total amount of $3.5 billion;
- Qualcomm has signed three non-binding agreements to sell $12 billion of semiconductors to Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo for the next three years;
In addition, Boeing aircraft factory signed a contract for the sale of aircraft to the amount of $37 billion dollars, and JD.Com Inc announced its intention to purchase more than $2 billion of U.S. agriculture and food products within the next three years.
Also, the contracts have been signed for the purchase of helicopters, wastewater treatment, development of environmentally-friendly mobikes, etc.
