EAEC formed a unified system of forecasting food markets

Almaty. March 5. Silkroadnews - College of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) adopted the methodology of calculation of consolidated forecasts for demand and supply in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) the main types of agricultural products and foodstuffs, reports BelTA referring to the press service of the ECE.
As noted, the development of this methodology was the final step in the formation of a unified system of forecasting food markets in the EAEC.
"Summary of projections formed on a periodic basis by 11 commodity groups: grain, meat and meat products, beef, pork, lamb, poultry, milk and dairy products, sugar, vegetable oil, potatoes, eggs and egg products. This takes into account the priority of mutual deliveries over foreign trade with third countries", - indicates the report.
According to EEC, based on forecast information, parties can produce solutions for stimulation industries, use defense mechanisms during import, consult on sensitive products.
